La Recette de base
Vous pouvez ajuster la quantité de sucre et de vinaigre de vin rouge selon vos goûts.
Ingrédients
Temps : 5 minutes de préparation + 20 minutes de cuisson
2 oignons rouges, pelés et coupés en rondelles
50g de beurre doux
1 c à soupe de cassonade
1 c à soupe de vinaigre de vin rouge ou vinaigre balsamique
Méthode
- Dans une casserole, faire fondre le beurre à feu moyen. Ajouter l’oignon et faire revenir pendant quelques minutes jusqu’à ce qu’il soit tendre.
- Ajouter le sucre cassonade et le vinaigre de vin rouge, remuer.
- Laisser mijoter à feu doux durant environ 20 minutes, en remuant régulièrement pour éviter que le sucre ne brûle. Le relish est prête lorsque la consistance est épaisse et la couleur rouge foncé.
Servir immédiatement ou mettre la relish dans un bocal propre et stérilisé.
Conservation
Conserver au réfrigérateur. La relish se conserve bien pendant une semaine.
